Today was a very nice start to the day weather wise. Our first job of the day was to take the dogs for a good walk as they were going to be left on their own for most of the day while we went off for our 'Indulgent Spa Day'!!

After settling down the doggies for the day we headed off to Rookery Hall Hotel and Spa which is situated close to Nantwich ...
After being given our robes, towels and slippers we had the run of the facilities before our full body massages at 12.30.
We started in the Swimming Pool, which also housed the Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam Room.
We gave them all a good bash, there was also a fully equipped gym, but we gave that a miss!
After a shower it was down to the waiting room where we waited for a few minutes....
.....before going in for our one hour massage ...
After the massage we went to the relaxation room to.........relax ... after all our hard work!!
At 14.00, it was time for high tea ...
I quite easily demolished my half ...
Elaine left two morsels behind ...
It was a lovely day of being spoilt rotten. Fantastic!
Our day of indulgence was all down to the generosity of our fantastic friends we met whilst moored up at Aston Marina over two winters ago.
We have holidayed twice with these people, had numerous boaters meetings in various pubs and it is an absolute pleasure to be associated with such generous, lovely people.

It looks like you had a great day. I think we could all do with a spa day now and again. I am equally positive the friendship we have as a group will be continue always and may we have many more holidays together xxxx
