I wasn't going to write this blog post, but after sending out about 30 emails and messages this morning it was taking up too much time, I cant phone as the phone signal here on the farm is crap.
The head oncologist visited her yesterday and it wasn't good, she has deteriorated to the point that they can no longer offer her chemo.
They are going to discharge her this week and put her in the care of the local, district nurses, Macmillan nurses and her GP.
As you can imagine the prognosis is grim, so this will be the last medical update, from now on it will be just nice pics of us, the dogs, family and friends making the most of a pretty crappy situation.
Well I better get tidying up the van for the home coming!!
Wishing you both inner strength. Thinking of you both. xxx

Hi Paul & El
ReplyDeleteThat is definitely not good news. We've been reading The Manly Ferry for quite some time and the thing about blogs is you start to feel you've become a ghost friend or relative travelling on the journey.
We're both pleased El is able to join the rest of the Macey family where she can be immersed in love and attention.
If there's anything we can do please email.
Our thoughts are with you
