We have had another lovely day, house sitting.
The weather has been a bit dodgy though. Last night we had a massive thunder storm which lasted for hours. Today we had some sunshine with some heavy rain showers coming through. I checked the weather radar this morning and it looked like we would get a break of an hour or more so we headed off to the park at the bottom of the road.
The park was fabulous in its autumn colours ...
After a while, we got caught in a huge rain shower so we sheltered under a tree until it passed over ...
Elaine got smacked on the head by a bunch of conkers falling out of the tree ... luckily the conkers weren't too badly damaged ...

The shower soon passed over ...
A few people were out feeding the ducks ...
We last walked around this park last Christmas, after some very heavy rain ...

After our walk we tucked ourselves into our sofas and watched a movie, while warming up our cold, wet dogs!
