On to Marple pt 1

As usual we didnt get up early, but then again we stayed up till 1.30am.....love it.

I took the dogs for a quick widdle whilst Elaine stayed in bed surrounded by the cats!

We had to move to Marple as that was the closest Elsan point (Dunny Drop) and we were getting rather full!

Passed this house with a jet ranger parked on the lawn, they do it tough up north thy knows.

Bombo was awake for a change, checking out the low bridges

We pulled onto Higher Poynton to fill with water

Elaine took Geoffrey for a quick walk whilst waiting for the tank to fill

She was also chatting to one of the locals

By now Bombo had assumed his normal position.....asleep

There was a boat jammed across the cut, half sunk, we shoved it to the bank where a passer-by secured it.

Loads of walkers and cyclists out today

Passed the Goyt Mill coming into Marple, wonder if there is any trouble at it?

We arrived at Marple Junction right next to the Ring of Bells pub. It would have been rude not to go and have a couple of pints and dinner , so we did.

Tomorrow its off to Bugsworth and a visit to Elsie Tanners old pub!
