Hippy Spotting

We walked to a local Arabic cafe for breakfast this morning, walking behind the press lines at the hospital ...

The crowds are now huge, waiting for Kate and Wills to emerge with Colin ...

As we sat having breakfast a sudden storm came through with torrential rain, it really is like Sydney!

We then walked down to Madame Tussaud's in Marylebone, where Elaine's niece was working -entertaining the people in the queue. Josie was an all singing and dancing girl from the 60s.
Josie is on the right.

Sammie loves Josie....

....and will always attempt to slip the tongue in at the slightest chance!

We won't see Josie for a while now as she is off to South Korea tomorrow; she has a role acting and dancing in a play that is being taken over there ... she previously starred in it in London. She is a very talented young lady.

We walked back to the boat past this building that is being renovated, it is covered in a huge exact scale mural type picture...very clever.

As we were now getting rather hot it was time for a pit stop.
Marstons didn't hang around!

Elaine had her first Pimms; I had the usual cold lager.

We are now back on the boat, the curry is cooking as we await the return of Phil and Kathy.
Tomorrow we will probably leave London....NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  1. Hi Paul and Elaine, I know it has been a while since I posted on the blog but I just thought you would like to know that the renovation coverings are also used in Disney world in the US. I noticed them a few years back on main Street USA. Zoe
