Up early to take the hire care back to Enterprise, then they dropped me off back at the boat.
We weighed anchor at 9.00am leaving our lovely mooring of the last two nights at Nuneaton. In all fairness it was a very quiet with no problems whatsoever, even the local smack heads and prossies were very friendly!
On Sunday's blog I wrote amongt other things about two huge dogs that we met on a narrowboat, and how, when the owner took them for a walk, the Mrs followed with a JCB in case one of them had a crap! Link Here
Well, today we passed them again but now they have had a mural done depicting the scene! I had to back up and take a pic, I was crying with laughter ... mind you, it looked bugger all like the dog!

Into the first lock of the day - there were four volunteer lock keepers on, which was good but it started to rain as we entered the first lock ...
One of the lock keepers came by and told us that he remembered (when he was about 4 yrs old) that there was a lock keepers cottage at this lock!
I was getting very cold and tired, but there, as we came into Tamworth was the perfect mooring ... I didn't even notice the pub till we were tied up, honest!
