Twin Tub Action

Another riveting blog about washing....yawn...The only reason I am blogging about it is because after spending nearly 3 hours catching up on the washing one of the other residents of the site informed me that there is a u-beaut brand new washing machine on the site albeit hidden away in a derelict looking shed, the cost to use the machine....50p!!!

Then it was over to Halfords to pick up a new number plate we had ordered, pick up some spare keys we have had cut and finally a final top up shop at Tesco.

The Euro card I ordered has also arrived, this was the one suggested on money market as the best card to use in Europe.

  1. Good to see you have a proper flag displayed on your new number plate. The EU commissars won't be very happy with you. Have a nice trip.

  2. Er, don't you need extra lights & a "long load" marker for over the pond ?

    1. The warning thingy has been ordered, the light board is on the to do list, but wont be done before we go away. There is a rack on the roof so I could chuck the bikes up there if I had to.

  3. Hi Paul
Why is the FairFX card preferable to their competition?
(The Caxton card didn't appeal then?)
We are off to Spain in December as you know so hence my question.
    X Lesley

    1. Purely on Fair FX having a better exchange rate, although today they are the same!
Caxton would be a better card if you are doing a lot of cash withdrawals and of course it has a much better name.
There really isn't a lot in it.

      Paul xx
